We deliver firewood in Penrith, throughout the Eden Valley and the surrounding area, including Appleby and many nearby villages.
Rather than charging every customer the same delivery fee, regardless of where they live, our prices are based on the distance from our yard. We believe this is a fairer way to calculate the cost of delivery.
Where possible, we arrange several deliveries in the same area on one journey. This reduces unnecessary mileage and can sometimes allow us to offer a lower delivery charge. If you are slightly outside our normal delivery area, or only require a smaller quantity, it is always worth contacting us to see whether we have another delivery planned nearby.

The prices below are a guide based on an order of 10-inch hardwood logs. Delivery distances are calculated using Google Maps from Westmorland Woodfuel, CA10 1XL.

** Deliveries between 21 and 25 miles will normally only be possible when we can combine your order with other deliveries in the same area. Please contact us to discuss availability.
These prices are intended as a guide. Delivery charges may vary depending on the exact location, the quantity ordered and whether we already have deliveries planned nearby. We may occasionally be able to reduce the delivery cost for 1m³, 2m³ or 3m³ orders when another customer is located close to you.
Delivery Bags
Some of our logs are delivered in specialist vented drying bags. These bags remain the property of Westmorland Woodfuel and are not included in the sale.
The bags are designed specifically for handling and drying firewood, and we aim to reuse each one several times. We can collect empty bags when we are next delivering in your area, or you are welcome to return them to our yard when convenient.
Please leave the bags somewhere accessible, reasonably clean and protected from damage until they can be collected.
Collecting firewood from us
Firewood can also be collected directly from our yard by prior arrangement. Please contact us before travelling so that we can confirm availability, arrange a suitable collection time and make sure your order is ready.
